Travel Medical Services

In addition to the covid vaccine, Xcel Urgent Care offers vaccinations for various purposes, including travel, school, and workplace requirements.

We also offer travel consultations and prescriptions for the prevention of malaria, altitude illness and motion sickness and for the treatment of traveler's diarrhea. The vaccines we offer are listed below.

  • If only one vaccine is needed and no consultation or prescriptions are requested, the visit fee is $55, in addition to the cost of the vaccine. The regular pre-travel visit fee is $100 per person, which includes a full consultation and covers all necessary prescriptions, which can be filled at any pharmacy. Families are charged a flat $160 fee. The cost of the vaccines is additional. There is no charge for follow-up visits for additional vaccines or to complete a vaccine series, other than the cost of the vaccines.

  • The visit fee is $55 per person in addition to the cost of the vaccines. For vaccines that require multiple visits, there is no visit fee for subsequent visits. There is no visit fee for vaccination against covid or flu.

  • Hepatitis A/B combined: $155/shot (3 shots needed)

  • Yellow Fever: $300

  • Typhoid fever injectable: $125

  • Typhoid fever oral: $155

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Pertussis: $80

  • Measles/Mumps/Rubella: $150/shot

  • Varicella: $210

  • Pneumonia (Prevnar 20): $350

  • Varicella (chickenpox): $210/shot

  • Influenza (flu): $40 (no visit fee)

  • Covid (12+ years): $220 (no visit fee)

  • Poliomyelitis: $75

  • Japanese Encephalitis: $345/shot (2 shots needed)

  • Rabies: $450/shot (2 shots needed)
